Fakenham Academy Norfolk

Choosing the right secondary school is one of the most important decisions a parent will make. At Fakenham Academy we aim to provide a positive and a supportive environment where children achieve their potential and enjoy the engagement in learning.

We believe every child should strive to reach their potential in an environment of mutual respect and taking responsibility for their learning. Our children have a right to be safe and happy at school which in turn we will act robustly against those that disregard that ideal.

The Fakenham community of students, parents, teachers and the wider community works together to ensure our children develop into young adults by experiencing education in its widest sense. We have high expectations of all students: we want them to work hard, take a pride in their appearance and behave responsibly at all times.

FakenhamAcademy Norfolk is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school of about 1100 students. At Secondary level there are about 850 students in Years 7 to 11 and about 250 students in the Sixth Form College, which consists of Years 12 and 13. The school serves a very large catchment area of North Norfolk with about half of all students coming from outside Fakenham.
