Wayland Junior Academy Watton became the first primary school to join the TEN Group. This was an exciting development for the school, the Watton community and for the federation as a whole, as it meant there was now a TEN Group progression pathway from Key Stage 2 right through to degree level. Wayland Junior Academy Watton works closely with neighbouring Wayland Academy Norfolk to support pupils’ progression to high school, supported by the considerable experience and expertise across curriculum areas and across phases within the TEN Group.

Wayland Junior Academy Watton is firmly committed to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. The school is one in which pupils are provided with a safe, supportive and inspiring educational experience, where they are enabled to progress academically, socially and morally, and given the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to pursue their dreams and ambitions. The school has strong links with its local community, with school staff, pupils, parents, governors and members of the wider community all playing a vital role in the development and progression of its pupils.
