Students embrace new role at Fakenham Academy Norfolk

Fakenham Academy Norfolk is putting its faith in its students by giving them a key role in making improvements within the Academy and by publicly sharing their experiences at Open Days and via Twitter.  

The newly launched Ambassador scheme goes further than traditional School Councils and Prefect systems.  It aims to engage large number of students not only in the process of giving feedback, but also links the Ambassador role directly to the improvement process within the Academy.

Wayland Academy helps pioneer new Swarm Apprenticeships

Local social entrepreneur and business author Robert Ashton has set up a new organisation to help very small businesses take on their first apprentice, with students and businesses from the Watton area set to be among the first to benefit.

Swarm Apprenticeships Ltd is a social business established with a grant of £50,000 over two years from Norfolk County Council.
